SUGI COOKIES
ONE OF THE MOST EASIEST ITEM WHICH I BAKED FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR. MY FAMILY LOVE THIS.
INGREDIENT A:
1 1/3 CUP PLAIN FLOUR
2/3 CUP ICING SUGAR
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
INGREDIENT B:
1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
1/3 CUP + 4 TABLEBSPOON CANOLA OIL
METHOD:
1) SIFT (A) INTO A MIXING BOWL.
2) ADD (B) BY USING A FORK TO STIR IT AND MIX WELL.
3) KNEAD THE DOUGH A FEW TIMES SO THAT THE VANILLA EXTRACT CAN DISTRIBUTE EVENLY.
4) USE YOUR HANDS AND ROLL THE DOUGH INTO SMALL BALLS.
5) PLACE ON LINED BAKING TRAY.
6) USE THE BACK OF A CHOPSTICK TO MAKE AN INDENTATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COOKIE.
7) BAKE AT PREHEATED OVER AT 180 DEG C FOR 15-18 MINUTES OR GOLDEN BROWN.
NOTES:
1) ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SIFT THE FLOUR, ICING SUGAR AND BAKING SODA IN ORDER TO HAVE A WELL COMBINE MIXTURE.
